Hornsey Central

The  health centre opened in July 2009 and covers more than 4,500 square metres across three floors. It brings health and social care services and clinics together in a single purpose built centre. The centre houses GP surgeries, a dementia care centre and various community and hospital services. The centre will also be the base for other activities open to the residents of West Haringey, making it a community hub accessible to young and old alike. Services currently on offer at the centre include:

  • Blood testing
  • Children’s orthoptics
  • Contraception and Family Planning
  • Foot Health Clinics
  • GP surgeries and clinics
  • Health visitors
  • Learning disabilities services
  • Mental Health (IAPT) services
  • Outpatients physiotherapy
  • School nursing
  • Speech and language therapy

This list will not be exhaustive as the space has been designed to be used flexibly. Services will be commissioned that are the most appropriate to the local population and its diverse needs. We hope you will take the time to visit the centre to see for yourself how it is progressing.
