Our telephone lines are open 8.00am-1.00pm and 2.30pm to 6.30pm Monday to Friday (Thursday 3.30pm to 6.30pm)

We run an appointment system. Please book the appointment most appropriate for your needs.

You will be asked some questions about the reason for the appointment . The receptionist will then direct you to the most suitable healthcare professional for your problem, so that you receive the most appropriate medical care.

Please note results are given out after 11 am and we do not take prescription requests over the phone.

Triage Service

Monday to Friday morning between 8am and 9.30am and on Friday between 2pm-3pm we have a Doctor who can speak to you, to deal with various health matters over the phone.  These can include Urinary tract infections, colds, coughs, and various other minor ailments.

Routine Appointments

These are 10 minutes long, please help us to run on time by prioritising which problems you want discussed. It would be helpful if requests for routine appointments were made after 10.00am.

For Continuity of care please try and book with the same clinician.

Urgent Appointments

Appointments between 8am and 6.30pm are made on the same day, please call early to book from 8am. Only one problem will be dealt with in these appointments.

48 Hour Appointments

These are booked from 10am and are for less urgent problems.

Telephone Appointments

Routine telephone consultations are available to discuss problems where examinations are not required.

Home Visits

Please ask for home visits only when the patient is too ill to attend the surgery. Requests for home visits should be made before 11am if possible.
